Cathedral Plays In State Title Game Today

The St. Cloud Cathedral baseball team plays at 3pm today in the Class AA State Championship game against La Crescent at Target Field in Minneapolis.  Hear today's game on WJON with Cathedral Activities Director Emmett Keenan calling the action.

The Crusaders defeated St. Anthony Village and Fairmont in the State Tournament last week at Dick Putz Field in St. Cloud to get to this point.  La Crescent is ranked #1 in the latest Class AA State poll while Cathedral was ranked #3.

The Class A state title game is scheduled to begin at noon at Target Field today when Eden Valley-Watkins plays Lake Crystal Wellcome Memorial.  Burnsville plays Maple Grove at 6pm today for the Class 3A state championship at Target Field.
