The Twins lost 6-5 at Kansas City Sunday to close the season with a record of 101-61. The 101 wins are the 2nd most in Twins franchise history. The 1965 Twins won 102 games.

The Vikings lost 16-6 Sunday afternoon in Chicago to the Bears to drop to 2-2 on the season. Chicago led 10-0 at halftime and 16-0 at the end of 3 quarters. The Vikings knocked out Bears' starting quarterback Mitchell Trubisky in the 1st quarter but backup Chase Daniel threw for 195 yards and a touchdown to lift Chicago to the win.

The Minnesota Twins face off against the New York Yankees in one of the 2019 American League Divisional Series beginning this week.

Tech 44, Sauk Rapids-Rice 14 (This was Tech's Homecoming.  Nate Trewick passes Chris Backes to become the All-Time leader in passing yards at Tech.  Kedrik Osourah is now 3rd all time in rushing yards.  Both Sam Oster and Troy Feddema had had a pair of touchdown receptions and Osourah ran 15 times for 133 yards and 2 scores...
