The Rocori Spartans will host Litchfield Friday night for a boys basketball matchup in Cold Spring. The Spartans are 1-6 so far this season, while the Dragons are 4-0 at this point.

The Rocori Spartan and Apollo Eagle football teams will each look for their first win of 2018 when they meet Friday night at Mischie Field in St. Cloud. The game can be heard on AM 1390 Granite City Sports, beginning with the pregame show at 6:40.

School spirit was in full swing as students and staff at ROCORI High School held a pep rally for their football team playing in Friday's Class 4A Quarterfinals.

ROCORI -- The final score was Hutchinson 7 and ROCORI 16.

On Friday night, the Rocori Spartans defeated the Apollo Eagles 62-47 in Rocori. Leading the way for the Spartans was Sam Olson with 20 points.

The final score was Winona 34 and Rocori 30 in the Class 4-A State Semifinals at US Bank Stadium.

At halftime the score was Little Falls 0 and Rocori 20. Going into the second half Little falls wanted to get their offense going on all cylinders and to get their defense holding Rocori. For the Rocori Spartans they just wanted to keep doing what they have been doing all game and that is play smart football. Even though the weather played a factor earlier in the game.

At halftime the score was Rocori 7 and Sartell - St. Stephen 19. Going into the third quarter Rocori was looking at getting back into the game. For Sartell they were looking at keep the momentum on their side and keeping control of the game.
