Twins' shortstop Jorge Polanco has been suspended 80 games after testing positive for a performance-enhancing substance. The commissioner's office says Polanco tested positive for Stanozolol. Polanco hit .256 with 13 homeruns and 74 RBIs last season in 127 games.

The Twins lost 2-1 to the Boston Red Sox in spring training baseball yesterday. Logan Morrison went 1-3 with 1 RBI and Tyler Duffey threw 3 innings with 1 earned run allowed.

Lance Lynn made his Twins debut Tuesday after being signed away from the St. Louis Cardinals over the weekend. Lynn went three innings and allowed no runs or hits while walking one and striking out five Orioles.

The Twins have 14 preseason games remaining before the regular season begins on March 29th. Minnesota will host Baltimore Tuesday afternoon, with first pitch slated for 12:05.

Logan Morrison was 2-2 with a run batted in before leaving the game with a glute injury, while Max Kepler, Robbie Grossman and Nick Gordon also registered a pair of hits each for the Twins in the win.
