Twins Pitcher Glen Perkins Set To Retire
Levine was asked about the pitcher's status for the upcoming season by a fan during a question-and-answer session. Levine responded that Perkins had retired to spend time with his family, while adding that there would be a job waiting for him with the Twins if he were interested.

The Minnesota Twins Winter Caravan braved a Twin Cities blizzard to get to St. Cloud Monday night. Outfielder Eddie Rosario, General Manager Thad Levine and broadcaster Dick Bremer were met by a crowd of hundreds at River's Edge Convention Center.
Two Twins Win Gold Glove Awards
This is the first season the Twins have had multiple Gold Glove winners since 2007, when pitcher Johan Santana and center fielder Torii Hunter each took home the award. It is the first Gold Glove for anyone on the Twins since Joe Mauer won at catcher in 2010.

Things started promisingly for the Twins, with Brian Dozier leading off the game with a solo home run and Eddie Rosario adding a two-run home run later in the top of the first inning.
