The St. Cloud Technical And Community College Cyclone baseball team took a pair of games against Central Lakes College Tuesday afternoon in Brainerd. Roger Mischke recaps the action.
The Cyclones played host to Northland Community and Technical College for a four game series at Dick Putz field. The Cyclones did defeat the Pioneers two marathon games, there were fifty-one total runs scored.
The Huskies took two from Bemidji State University Beavers to bring their record to 29-6 on the season and 17-4 in the NSIC. The games were played at St. John's University Hagen Field, because of wet field conditions at Faber field.
The Huskies swept a series with Duluth in Wisconsin over the weekend, winning a single game Saturday before taking both games of a doubleheader on Sunday. Roger Mischke provides a recap of the weekend's games.
The Huskies defeated Concordia of St. Paul Golden Bears in a doubleheader that was moved up a day. They defeated them by identical scores 5-2, to improve their record to 24-6 overall and 12-4 In the Northern Sun Intercolliegent Conference.
The St. John's University baseball team split a doubleheader with Gustavus in Collegeville Tuesday afternoon. The Johnnies fell 2-0 in eight innings in game one before bouncing back for a 4-2 win in game two.
