Last night we saw it all in the NCAA tournament. We had a low scoring game in Wisconsin and Butler, and an NBA paced game in Duke and Arizona. Speaking of Duke I've never seen them get manhandled like that in the NCAA tournament!  We had a back and forth game in UConn and SDSU, and an overtime game with BYU and Florida. That Duke game really surprised me with the outcome. Derrick Williams was spectacular for Arizona! He was a beast on the floor hitting three's and dropping tomahawk dunks.

The question we must ask is will we see the same type of action in tonight's game's?

North Carolina takes on Marquette in a game that features two styles of play. North Carolina likes to get up and down the floor, while Marquette likes to slow it down and play a physical game. I like UNC in this one as I feel the talent on North Carolina is superior to Marquette.

The marquee match-up of the night comes when Ohio State takes on Kentucky. Ohio State can beat you numerous ways, and has senior leadership. Kentucky is full of youth and athleticism. I like Ohio State to win a tightly contested battle by hitting enough three's to drop the Wildcats.

Kansas plays Richmond tonight, and usually a one seed versus a twelve seed at this point sets up for disaster. I think the Morris twins down low will be too much for Richmond. Richmond likes to shoot three's and play finesse basketball, and that bodes well for Kansas.

Finally we come to the game not many people care to watch. No offense to Florida State and VCU, but not exactly a headliner. It's cool to see lower seeded teams make it this far, but it's much more exciting to watch them play a top contender, not each other. Florida State is a half court, lock you down on defense team. VCU was third in the country in scoring this season. Something has to give, and I'll take VCU for no other reason than I am not a fan Florida State. But it won't shock me either way who wins.

I think we should have a couple of solid games tonight. I'm not sure they will be like last night, but if we can land one thriller it makes for a great night of basketball.
