The Twins had 2 blown saves in their 4-3 loss in 10 innings to the Tampa Bay Rays at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida Thursday night.  Matt Joyce doubled off Joe Nathan in the 9th inning to tie the game at 2 apiece before Danny Valencia hit an RBI single in the 10th inning to give the Twins a 3-2 lead.  Johnny Damon hit a 2-run homerun off Matt Capps in the 10th inning to win the game.  Jim Thome and Justin Morneau were each 2-5 with a run scored and Carl Pavano threw 8 shutout innings with 4 hits allowed and 7 strikeouts.  Minnesota is 4-8 and will play at Tampa Bay again tonight at 6:10, pregame on WJON at 5:40.  Righthander Nick Blackburn (1-1) gets the start on the mound for the Twins and righthander Wade Davis (0-2) toes the rubber for the Rays.
