The Twins lost their 4th game in a row last night when the bullpen blew a late lead in their 4-3 defeat at Kansas City. Alex Burnett allowed 2 runs in the bottom of the 8th inning and took the loss. Scott Baker threw the ball well throwing 6 1/3 innings with 8 hits and 2 earned runs allowed and doesn't figure in the final decision. Danny Valencia went 2-4 with 2 RBIs and Jason Kubel was 2-4 with a run scored. The Twins are now 9-16 and are 8 games back of Cleveland for first place in the American League Central. Minnesota is at Kansas City again tonight at 6:10, pregame on WJON at 5:35. Lefthander Brian Duensing (2-0) gets the start on the mound for the Twins and righthander Sean O'Sullivan (1-1) toes the rubber for the Royals.
