The Twins lost 6-2 to the Milwaukee Brewers Sunday afternoon.  Minnesota has lost 5 straight games and is 32-44 on the season.  Milwaukee scored 3 5th inning runs and added 2 more runs in the 6th inning.  Carl Pavano allowed 8 hits and 5 earned runs in 6 innings to take the loss and drop to 5-6.

Tsuyoshi Nishioka had 2 hits and both Jim Thome and Jason Repko had 1 hit and 1 RBI for the Twins.  Minnesota has fallen to last place in the American League Central tied with Kansas City 9 games back of 1st place Detroit.

The Twins open a 9-game homestand and 3-game series against the L.A. Dodgers tonight at 7:10, pregame on WJON at 6:40.  Righthander Nick Blackburn (6-5) gets the start on the mound for the Twins and righthander Chad Billingsley (6-6) toes the rubber for the Dodgers.
