Blue Sox Claim Titles Wednesday Night

Two Blue Sox teams claimed Gopher League titles Wednesday night in Brooklyn Park, with two teams continuing play Thursday night.

The 12AAA Blue Sox defeated White Bear Lake 15-4 to take their Tier I Championship game in Brooklyn Park. Brady Posch's grand slam highlighted the offensive outburst.

The 12AA Blue Sox defeated Osceola 3-2 in Brooklyn Park. The Sox scored a pair of runs in the top of the sixth inning to snap a 1-1 tie. Tate Caldwell earned the win on the mound for the Sox, and Tyler Zachman had an RBI single. St. Cloud finished the season with a record of 34-15-1.
