The Twins lost 6-5 in 10 innings to the Toronto Blue Jays Monday night.  Yan Gomes hit a solo homerun off Glen Perkins in the 9th inning to force extra innings before Anthony Gose hit the game-winning RBI single off Brian Duensing in the 10th inning.  Trevor Plouffe was 2-3 with a 2-run homerun and 3 RBIs and Jamey Carroll went 3-5 with 2 runs scored and 1 RBI for the Twins.

Esmerling Vasquez threw 5 2/3 innings with 3 earned runs allowed for the Twins.  Minnesota is 66-94 and will play at Toronto in the 2nd to last game of the year tonight at 6:07, pregame on WJON at 5:35.  Righthander Anthony Swarzak (3-5) gets the start on the mound for the Twins and righthander Chad Jenkins (0-3) toes the rubber for the Blue Jays.
