Blizzard Upset Lumberjacks In Playoff Opener Friday

The Alexandria Blizzard topped the Granite City Lumberjacks 4-1 in the opening game of a best-of-three NA3HL series Friday night at Sports Arena East. Game two will be played Saturday night at 7 PM in Alexandria.

Alexandria scored three unanswered goals-one in the first period and two in the second-before Granite City got on the board with a Luke Richardson power play goal late in the second period.
