Blazers Blank Cornell In NCAA Volleyball Tournament Opener

The College of St. Benedict volleyball team got their 2013 NCAA Division III tournament off to a rousing start by blanking Cornell (Iowa) 3-0 at St. Thomas on Thursday.

CSB won the first and second sets by identical 25-16 margins, then won the match with a 25-17 third set.

The Blazers hit the floor once again at 4:30 Friday afternoon for a second round matchup with Wisconsin-Stevens Point at St. Thomas.
