Apollo Boys Top Rochester Lourdes In State Soccer Tournament Opener

The Apollo Eagles boys soccer team defeated Rochester Lourdes 1-0 in Osseo Wednesday night to advance in the state tournament. Abdiaziz Hilowle scored for the Eagles in the 22nd minute to guide Apollo to their first-ever state tournament win.

The Eagles will play against Mankato West, who defeated Monticello 4-0, on Wednesday morning. The match is set for 9 AM at St. Cloud State University’s Husky Stadium.
