The St. Cloud Apollo Eagles wrapped up a historical 2014-2015 falling to Mahtomedi 4-3. The Zephyrs took 3rd place in Class A, while Apollo finished 4th in Class A. Mahtomedi scored two goals in the 1st period, despite Apollo outshooting Mahtomedi 12-7. The Zephyrs made it a 3-0 game early in the 2nd period but the Eagles would bounce back.

Jason Omerman would score two goals and then Hunter Simonson tied the game for Apollo heading into the 3rd period. Apollo continued to pound out shots but weren't able to beat goaltender Will Swanson who made 25 saves for Mahtomedi. Eventually Sam Krawczyk scored the game winner for Mahtomedi, propelling them to a 3rd place finish in Class A and a 4-3 win.

St. Cloud Apollo Eagles finish their season with a 23-5-2 overall record and more impressively, 4th place in the state. The Eagles will graduate seniors; Cooper Gray, Hunter Simonson, Jason Omann, Grady Ewin, Steven Maus and Logan Traut.
