The Angels beat the Twins 6-2 in Anaheim Wednesday night. Los Angeles scored three runs in the bottom of the second inning to pull away for the win.

Rookie starter Yohan Pino lasted just three innings for the Twins just one night after Kyle Gibson could only manage two innings in his start on Tuesday. Pino allowed five runs on seven hits and needed 74 pitches to do it.

Oswaldo Arcia snapped an 0-31 skid with a solo home run off of Angels starter Garrett Richards in the second inning, but that was about all the Twins could manage offensively in the game.

The Twins will look to avoid being swept this afternoon when they take on the Angels at 2:35 PM. Jared Weaver will get the start for the Halos against the Twins’ Ricky Nolasco.
