Andy Henkemeyer Signs With St. Paul Saints

Sauk Rapids native Andy Henkemeyer signed with the St. Paul Saints on Thursday. The former Minnesota Gophers and Rox player was a 2012 Northwoods League All Star.

Henkemeyer had a base hit, was hit by a pitch and scored a run in his professional debut Thursday night. The Saints topped the Sioux Falls Canaries, with former St. Cloud Rox hurler Billy Soule earning the win on the mound.

The Saints are at Sioux City this weekend.
