Viking running back Adrian Peterson was arrested in Houston, Texas for resisting arrest and for alledgedly pushing a police officer.  Peterson was at a bar early Saturday morning and refused to leave when all patrons were asked to do so.  He got into an argument with a police officer and was tackled to the ground after he alledgedly pushed an officer.

Peterson was held in jail Saturday until posted bail.  Peterson is recovering a major knee surgery and is a question mark to play for the Vikings when the season starts.
