2013 WCHA Final Five Matchups Set

The St. Cloud State Huskies will play Friday afternoon with their opponent to be determined after two play-in games Thursday at Xcel Energy Center.

SCSU is the top seed and Minnesota the second seed in this week's WCHA Final Five at the Xcel Energy Center.

The tournament will begin at 2 pm Thursday with #5 Minnesota State (Mankato) taking on #4 Wisconsin. It is MSU's first trip to the Final Five since 2003, when the Mavericks lost to the Gophers in a quarterfinal matchup. Wisconsin last made the tourney in 2010 and lost to SCSU in the semifinals.

At 7 pm on Thursday, #6 Colorado College will face off with #3 North Dakota. UND has won the past three Final Five tourneys. Colorado College lost in the 2011 semifinals to UND.

SCSU will face the winner of Wisconsin and Minnesota State at 2 pm on Friday afternoon. Minnesota awaits the winner of CC and UND, with the Gophers playing the winner of that game at 7 pm.

The championship game will be held Saturday night at 7 pm.
