The losses keep piling up for the Minnesota men's basketball team.

The #18 Ohio State Buckeyes topped the Minnesota Golden Gophers 71-45 in a Big Ten Conference game in Columbus, Ohio Wednesday night. The Gophers' starting five shot just 6-30 on the night and combined for 18 points.

Turnovers once again doomed Minnesota as the Gophers committed 20 on the night. The Gophers shot under 30% overall and just 2-15 from three point range.

Ohio State protected the ball well with 11 turnovers. DeShaun Thomas led the Buckeyes with 19 points 6-16 on shooting.

Minnesota falls to 18-9 on the season and 6-8 in Big Ten play with the loss. Ohio State is 19-7 overall and 9-5 in conference play.

The Gophers will host the #1 ranked team in the country, Indiana, on Tuesday at Williams Arena.
