ST. CLOUD - The #1 ranked St. Cloud State men's hockey team had it's seven game unbeaten streak snapped with a 4-1 loss to Union at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center.

Union used the power play to its advantage and picked up a quick 2-0 lead in the first period. Max Novak and Eli Lichtenwald scored for Dutchmen.

The Huskies scored their lone goal in the second period from Joey Benik to make it 2-1. Union would pull away in the third period with goals from Mat Bodie and Nick Cruice.

Goalie Ryan Faragher made 25 saves before being pulled for Charlie Lindgren, who made six saves to finish the action.

St. Cloud State University is now 11-2-2 this season. The Huskies will look to rebound tonight against Union, puck drop is set for 7:07 p.m. at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center.
